The first event of the China-UK Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Association was held on January 15, 2023, in London. Approximately 50 attendees, including representatives from the British Chinese community, UK entrepreneurs, Chinese-funded institutions in the UK, and startup founders, participated in the event.
The event was hosted by Du Yutong, President of the Sino-British Youth Entrepreneurship Association.
Entrepreneurial representative Dongrui Xie, founder of HomeFresh, shared his entrepreneurial insights from the perspectives of why to start a business, the challenges he encountered during his entrepreneurial journey, and the solutions he implemented.
Following this, attendees analyzed HomeFresh's business case from angles such as business models and market trends.
Zhaojun Qiu, Managing Director of UK International Connect and Head of the UK-China Cross-border E-commerce Overseas Exhibition Center, actively answered questions from entrepreneurs and shared professional knowledge about the cross-border e-commerce industry.
The event was organized by the China-UK Youth Innovation & Entrepreneurship Association and the China-UK social media and e-commerce center, with co-organization by the UK-China Cross-border E-commerce Overseas Exhibition Center. The venue was graciously provided by Shuyue Bashan.
